Rate Limits

Curacel APIs may apply rate limits by product, environment, organization, API key, or endpoint.

Documented Headers

Curacel documentation and live API checks show legacy rate-limit headers such as:

X-RateLimit-Limit: 100
X-RateLimit-Remaining: 95
X-RateLimit-Reset: 1640995200

Some live endpoints may return only a subset of these headers.

Handling Rate Limits

If an API returns 429 Too Many Requests, the client should slow down and retry later. Avoid tight retry loops and prefer exponential backoff.

Curacel does not currently document IETF RateLimit-* headers as a guaranteed public API contract across all products.
